Membership

DSC02184

EOFPANJ membership is open to all Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) professional staff employed at New Jersey colleges and universities that receive funding under the New Jersey Educational Opportunity Fund Act of 1968 (Assembly Bill 767).

Professional staff includes EOF directors, associate and assistant directors, counselors/advisors, faculty, and other professionals recognized by the Association.

All EOF staff are encouraged to become EOFPANJ members. Members in good standing receive discounted conference registration and voting privileges at the Fall and Spring Conferences.

Mission
EOFPANJ serves as the official liaison between campus EOF programs, the New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education, and the EOF Board of Directors. The Association advocates for EOF programs and the educationally and economically disadvantaged students they serve, monitors legislation and policy affecting the EOF community, promotes professional development, and provides resources that strengthen campus-based EOF programs.

Goals
EOFPANJ works to:

  • Monitor, research, and interpret legislation and policies affecting EOF programs.
  • Provide input on administrative decisions impacting EOF funding and campus-based services.
  • Promote collaboration, resource sharing, and professional development for EOF professionals.
